Held under the slogan “Dialogue. Future. Economy.”, the Forum will serve as a high-level platform for discussing the development prospects, strategic importance and current challenges of modern retail, expanding international exchange of experience and strengthening government-business dialogue.

A meeting between the Retail Networks Development Union (RNDU) and the Japan Retailers Association (JRA) was held during APRCE 2026 in Tokyo.

The memorandum establishes an institutional foundation for developing relations between the retail sectors of the two countries and marks an important step in expanding the Union’s international cooperation.

The forum brings together government representatives, business professionals and experts from around the world to discuss regional cooperation, the expansion of economic ties, investment and innovation.

RNDU’s participation focused on exploring opportunities for cooperation in retail and supply, and promoting direct business connections between Greek manufacturers and suppliers and the Union’s member chains.

The Retail Networks Development Union (RNDU) has begun a working visit to Greece to expand international cooperation in the retail sector.

The forum’s agenda covers investment, regional trade, logistics and digital transformation. Our focus is on opportunities to strengthen retail supply chains, improve payment efficiency and develop new partnerships.

The memorandum promotes the exchange of expertise in customs clearance, import and export operations, and logistics, with a focus on supply chain resilience and the operational efficiency of member companies.

Our participation in “Perakende Zirvesi 2026” in Istanbul continues. The second day focuses on the transformative power of cross-sector cooperation and new approaches to retailing. Today’s programme features panel discussions with representatives of TPF and other associations, alongside Coca-Cola İçecek, ETİ, Evyap, Nestlé Türkiye, Unilever Türkiye, Sütaş and other companies.

At the invitation of the Turkish Retailers Federation (TPF), the Retail Networks Development Union (RNDU) is participating in the 17th “Perakende Zirvesi” at the Haliç Congress Centre in Istanbul. Bringing together retailers, manufacturers and suppliers, the event features both a conference and an exhibition programme.

The document provides for the development of institutional cooperation between the banking sector and retail networks, the improvement of the cashless payment ecosystem, and the strengthening of dialogue on aligning banking services with the operational needs of retail businesses.

The forum addresses digital security, the protection of information systems, the strengthening of cyber resilience, and the development of security mechanisms capable of responding to contemporary challenges.

The forum provided an opportunity to discuss the development of economic relations between the two countries, the strengthening of institutional ties, and import opportunities for retail networks.

Recognised as one of Europe’s leading platforms for retail innovation, the event brought together industry leaders, technology providers and retail professionals to showcase the latest developments in artificial intelligence, omnichannel solutions, retail media, digital payments, supply chain technologies and customer experience.

The event brought together retail sector representatives and entrepreneurs to discuss current developments and opportunities for cooperation. Chairman of the RNDU, Mr Araz Imanov, held discussions with the Ambassador and Embassy officials, focusing on sector development and collaboration with British partners, including engagement with the British Retail Consortium. The RNDU also exchanged views with business representatives on key challenges and potential areas for joint initiatives.

The Committee has been established to ensure more effective protection of consumer rights, align the quality and safety of products and services and the information provided to consumers with international standards, and strengthen cooperation between public authorities and civil society organisations in this field.

The Retail Networks Development Union, which participated in the 11th Joint Development Congress (11. Ortak Gelişim Kongresi), signed a Protocol of Intent with the Food Retailers Association of Türkiye (GPD) during the event.

Addressing the ceremony, Araz Imanov, Secretary General of the Retail Networks Development Union, highlighted the important role of the retail sector in the national economy. He noted that retail networks currently account for approximately 30–32 per cent of Azerbaijan’s retail market.
