On 24 September, the Retail Networks Development Union (RNDU) and the Association of Azerbaijan Customs Representation and Logistics Companies (AGTL) signed a memorandum of understanding.

The document was signed by Araz Imanov, Chair of the Board of RNDU, and Vusal Gasimov, Chair of AGTL.

The memorandum promotes the exchange of expertise in customs clearance, import and export operations, and logistics, with a focus on supply chain resilience and the operational efficiency of member companies.

The cooperation also provides a framework for participation in public consultations on draft laws and other regulatory acts affecting these sectors, and for submitting comments and proposals informed by collective sector experience to the relevant public authorities. The aim is to help assess the practical implications of proposed regulations in advance and reduce potential implementation difficulties.
